Personal Bio

From a young age I've found my way exploring the globe looking for new and exciting experiences. I didn't attend public school, I was, and still am "unschooled," or as I like to say, autodidactic (self-taught).

I have learned most of what I know from real-world, hands-on experience instead of the limitations of the classroom. This gives me an unusual viewpoint for... unique point of view on life and worldly issues

I have always had a passion for writing. For creative writing I worked through four years of National Novel Writing Month. I was also one of the editors for the Chandler Gilbert Community College creative writing magazine. Reading is my most time consuming hobby. My reading has helped shape, and will continue to shape my writing into what it is now.

Working at a bookstore for four years has given me many opportunities to write reviews for books, and book blogging reviews before that also strengthened my analytical writing mind. On my website I have published honest reviews upon request for authors, among a few hundred of my own-time reading and reviewing.

I have written a travel blog since 2013, journaling travel experiences and including my own pictures within each post. Travel blogging combines my two greatest passions in life, traveling and writing. My dream job is to travel the world while writing about it, and to eventually work as an editor at a major publishing house. In the meantime, I try everything that comes my way, from long-sword fighting to philosophy clubs to glacier climbing. I want to learn everything this world has to offer me.
